- Ivory candle with painted snake's head fritillary flowers. These pretty flowers are in decline with the loss of meadows, but can be found growing through April and May. The pink and purple bell shaped flower has a unique checkerboard appearance, and are said to resemble a snake, hence the name.

Always extinguish the candle. Keep away from drafts but always use in a well ventilated room. Keep the wick trimmed. In case of fire use water for extinction.
